It gives me great pleasure to introduce this book on Textbook for Dialysis Technicians. In this book, I have tried to solve the difficulty of diploma and certificate students of Dialysis Technician to understand various aspects of dialysis procedures and its related stuff. The main aims and objectives of this book are primarily to meet the requirements of dialysis technicians and undergraduate courses. A Textbook of Dialysis Technicians is an important subject of paramedical courses, but there is a non-availability of good books on this subject. The books available are vast and mainly written for medical students. I have tried to overcome this problem by writing in easy language, point-wise manner, using diagrams, flow charts, tables, graphs, and pictures and providing exact data. I hope that this book will satisfy the needs of Dialysis Technician students. This book comprises units. All units, such as Renal anatomy and physiology, advanced procedures in dialysis, basic dialysis, hospital management and medical-surgical procedures during dialysis. Finally, we can say this book is totally based upon the Dialysis Technician syllabus of the various paramedical state councils.
