The Covid19 Pandemic has once again reminded us of the need and importance of 'Public Health and Community Medicine'. In these trying times, compiling our first edition of the textbook on Health Education and Community Pharmacy has been an immense pleasure and a ray of hope. The book is designed, keeping in mind the national syllabus for students of diploma in pharmacy in various institutions of India. Apart from theoretical knowledge, the subject of Health Education and Community Pharmacy has its application in practical life ranging from a holistic approach to health, prevention of diseases, first aid to family planning and demography.
